Our dream lantern is for use, either indoors or outdoors providing 8-10 hours of light at night. Simply recharge by placing your lantern in the direct sun or in a sunny window. An internal sensor automatically switches the lantern on when it is dark. 

Each lantern contains a water resistant solar cell with a replaceable & rechargeable battery (included). 

The dream lantern does best when fully charged in direct sunlight and requires several hours to fully recharge, & will depend entirely on how long you allow it to charge & how much direct sunlight it receives.

Your dream lantern may need to be charged when it arrives, before its first use, in overcast conditions, this may mean it could take several days to fully charge. Overcast days are not exactly, the dream lantern’s friend.  On winter or very overcast days, your dream lantern may not light-up for a full 8-10 hours. 

If you find your dream lantern is just not recharging, you may need to give it a boost by fully charging its battery in a standard rechargeable battery charger. (Not all batteries in dream lanterns are compatible with all standard rechargeable battery chargers)  

If the previous step doesn‘t work, it may be time to replace your battery, Rechargeable batteries last a long time, but will need replaced over time. 

Simply open the lantern by unscrewing or unlatching the lid, the solar cell is located on the underside of the jar’s lid.  Carefully remove the 3 screws & loosen the plate on the bottom of the solar unit, to reveal the battery.. 

Most dream lanterns accept AA batteries or 2/3 AA 1.2v PILE _RECHARGEABLE NI-CD batteries.  NEVER USE A NON-RECHARGEABLE BATTERY IN YOUR dream lantern!!!

Unless items are specifically detailed & described for outdoor use, designs should be protected from the elements,
